2006 Shotokan International Spring Course May 2006
A special JKA International Spring Course was held at the Guildford Leisure Spectrum from Friday 28th April to Monday 1st May 2006.
The Guest Instructors from JKA HQ in Tokyo were the ever popular Sensei Osaka (7th Dan) and Sensei Kobayashi (5th Dan). Sensei Aoki (7th Dan) from JKA Spain was also in attendance along with our own Sensei Ohta (6th Dan) from JKA England.
Particpants were put through their paces by these senior Japanese Instructors and practiced a vast number of Kihon, Kata & Kumite drills.
A number of Colchester JKA members both young and old(er)! took part in this years course and all concerned enjoyed their experience very much.
